Andy was right..."In the future everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes". I don't know if I have been famous for 15 minutes straight but definitely a total of 15 by now. Quite ironic since Andy and I have a bit of history together. Last night or the night before I had a dream that someone gave me a Warhol print. That's another story. Anyway, at my last publishing gig I worked very intimately on a book called
Andy Warhol Prints: A Catalogue Raisonné 1962-1987
. I spent many hours looking at slides and transparencies of silkscreened bananas, famous portraits, and other body parts I won't mention. In all the years I spent in publishing, I was never formally thanked on an acknowledgements page but for all my efforts on this one I was rewarded on p. 9. by the lovely people at the
Feldman Gallery.
